We are playing Imperial Maledictum and the new Cubicle 7 TTRPG that is also the spiritual successor to Dark Heresy. So you could say this is Dark Heresy 3rd edition. I think everyone here is slightly familiar with the the 40K setting.

So you guys are on the planet Lenova in the Gov check system, also in the Hive City. Oh Brielle. Known to manufacture LAZ weapons. They have very high quality LAZ focus crystals. The city is huge. If you guys are not familiar with hive cities, hive cities are essentially planet wide cities. Think of course on but like gross and dingy and miserable. Did I mention that 40K is really miserable? It's grim and dark, oh.

4:02 Yeah, it's it's pretty gross too. I don't know if everyone likes to say it, but we should say grim, dark, and grimy. I don't think people shower. It don't smell good. Let's just zoom in a little bit and get into the city. You know we'll do a pan shot, so use your imagination, Brains. I will use my Magnoculars which is an item that I have. So we're in a hive city that is just, let's just say, hidden just right by the sun. In the middle of the hive city of Oberil is a giant, boring like a bore hole.

And miserable all to continue in the grand and glorious imperial machine that is the Imperial of man. But our heroes are people we will follow are some of those who are outside the system or who are not part of that machine.

So as we're done getting the introspective and the thoughts and seeing how these people are acting, the door opens and in comes an average size man, unassuming. Buzz cut hair, and he has one green bionic eye. And he walks around, catches an eye of everyone, and then sits down.

Lifts, container, cranes all within inside and you can almost see these go for.

In this infernal place and you know you've heard stories of people completely getting lost in these shipping areas and just living there for the rest of their lives outside of society, outside the machine that is the Imperium, Man. Is this a? Is this a spaceport or is it like ground shipping with trains? It's just, it's just ground shipping that you see that go on lifts. So it's like they get shipped, they get dropped down, moved around and then they get shipped back up to the. To the like the space. Are there lots of people walking around or is this all like all automated? So when you guys get there, parts of it is automated. And then the other parts is you can see people on the machines, you can see people on the cranes, you could see people walking around screaming and shouting, you know, all in various dialects of the Hive City. You you notice and you see that there are there is almost kind of like an office but it looks like it's going to be a walk. It you know has the giant thing that you literally just says overseer.

21:15 So what are you guys going to? Do I want to walk up to the nearest guy? And start talking to them. I have quite a bit of rapport and fellowship while I am very focused on destroying heretics. I also think of myself as like a pretty cool guy. Like, I'm a guy you could get along with. Like a people person.
